Event Review

The organisers thought they would have a quite day on Sunday.
The field was greatly increased by an influx of our partner club Shepparton & District Car Club that had had a twilight event the Saturday night before and were all pumped up to go.
We had 4 Junior Drivers in there own little battle against the clock and cans of coke if they beat their personal mates each run.
The Lady Class times have plateaued out but as the laps increase the times will come back to them.
Class A got some real enthusiasm with the times getting better due to a change of tyres better suited to the track.
Terry Maher took out Class B with his normal pace due to every one looking into Class A or D and E. He is the only B entrant hence he gets the points.
Class E was a 4 way go with Neil Goudies Cordia getting the points.
And of course the Fastest and most competitive Class was Class D with 4 very good drivers. The times see-sawed all day until Shane Ratcliffe in his WRX finally got the better of the locals and took a very well deserved win with a fast 3 lap time of 464.7 seconds

The Next Round 8 is set for Sunday 9th December due to lots of extra DSCC October Action
The Club will start October with the Circle Work and other Motor Sport Action in the Sport Arena at the Ute Muster held on Friday/Saturday 3rd & 4th October.
Then a Bathurst Day at the Club Rooms On Sunday 12th October.
This is followed by the 6 Hour Relay Race At Winton Raceway Sat/Sun 18th & 19th October.
