*DSCC AutoCross Rnd5* Sun, July 13th, 2014 Event Review
Rnd 5 of the DSCC Autocross Series was held last Sunday the 13th. It looked like a quite cold winters day for the racers at the Deni Autocross Track. But despite the missing Timing Tower the weather turned out to be very good all day and 17 local and interstate Drivers turned out and had 6 timed runs on the freshly graded smooth 1 mile racetrack. Behind the scenes the Club have a dedicated bunch of workers that keep the complex fresh and ready to go each event. By next event on Sunday 10th August we hope to have the new timing tower up and ready. Provisional Results Rnd 5 DSCC Autocross Class A - Rod Fox - Nissan Pulsar Class B - John Londrigon - Magna Class D - Bryson Lloyd - Skyline Class E - Allan Upton - Datsun 1600 Class L - Sarah Thompson - Datsun 1600 Class J - Harrison Rich - WRX Results PDF The Younger Generation seem to have been bitten with the BUG as we had 5 Junior drivers (14-18 years of age) and the female drivers are getting into the action with 3 drivers getting PBs at each event. This is a great result all round for the future of our Local Sporting Club and Deni.
